General findings of nutritional science
Minerals and vitamins are essential for the proper functioning of the metabolism. Especially in times of increased vitamin and mineral requirements, the addition of these vital nutrients is necessary to prevent deficiency symptoms and illnesses..
Calcium, phosphorus and vitamin D3 are essential for the resilience and strength of bones and joints.
Magnesium is an irreplaceable enzyme activator for the body: by stabilizing brain and nerve tissue, it prevents nerve cells from being overstimulated by stress hormones.
As regulators of the water and electrolyte balance, sodium and potassium ensure the elasticity of the tissues.
Iron is irreplaceable as an oxygen transporter in the blood; it also strengthens the function of immune cells and promotes wound healing.
Vitamin A and zinc are essential for the proper functioning, regeneration and wound healing of the skin.
Copper is essential for regular pigmentation of the skin and for the formation of subcutaneous connective tissue.
B vitamins play a key role in the protein and energy metabolism of nerve and brain cells.
Vitamins C and E as well as selenium protect the cell membranes from damaging oxygen compounds and are essential for the functionality and structure of the heart and skeletal muscles.
Kieselguhr and methionine strengthen and firm the connective tissue, skin and claws
