Complementary feed for horses
Proven vital substances promote kidney function and thus support detoxification.
Application
EQUIPUR - renal effectively compensates for feed-related deficiencies in vital substances that are needed for optimal kidney and bladder function. Impaired kidney function not only leads to disturbances in electrolyte or acid-base balance, but also to reduced detoxification. This manifests itself, among other things, in reduced lymph drainage (swollen legs). Promoting renal excretion can significantly increase the horse's well-being and performance.

General findings of nutritional science
The horse's kidneys are particularly stressed by excess protein in the feed and by the intake of environmental toxins and medications. Supporting the kidneys in the excretion of metabolic waste products and medication residues can significantly increase the horse's well-being and performance.
Herbs stimulate urine production with their medicinal active ingredients and detoxify the body by increasing the excretion of metabolic waste products and foreign substances from the blood. At the same time, they effectively combat inflammation of the kidneys and bladder and prevent the formation of urinary stones. By supporting heart activity and circulation, lymphatic drainage is improved, thus preventing swollen legs, edema, and the formation of gallstones. The anti-inflammatory and connective tissue-strengthening active ingredients enhance this effect.
Electrolytes are lost in large quantities in cases of kidney disease or increased urine output and must therefore be replaced..
Vitamins A, C, and E as well as selenium and zinc, work together to protect the kidneys during the excretion of aggressive harmful substances, to combat urinary tract infections, and to regenerate the mucous membranes of the urinary organs.
B vitamins and folic acid acid help to quickly eliminate metabolic waste products from the blood.
Methionine causes the urine to become more acidic, thereby preventing the formation of urinary gravel or bladder stones.
INFOBOX
Detoxifying the horse's kidneys - is it possible?
The central task of the kidneys in horses is detoxification. They filter waste products from the blood and excrete them in the urine. To do this, over 4,000 - 6,000 liters of blood are filtered in two stages every day. Useful or valuable substances for the organism (electrolytes, amino acids, sugar, etc.) are returned to the bloodstream. After several stages of "filtering", the kidneys return unusable and toxic substances to the urine. In addition to this form of detoxification, the water and electrolyte balance is also regulated, blood pressure is influenced, various hormones are produced and, alongside the liver, the synthesis of sugar (glucose) is influenced. Disorders or diseases in the kidney tissue should therefore be taken very seriously.
