Mineral feed for horses
The highly concentrated vitamin and mineral supply for feed-sensitive horses.
Application
EQUIPUR - mineral offers a highly concentrated supply of essential vitamins, minerals and trace elements. This not only prevents the increasingly common deficiency symptoms, but also decisively promotes the vitality, resilience and performance of the horse. The absence of cereals, herbs and protein carriers makes this mineral feed particularly suitable for feed-sensitive horses.

Instructions for proper use
Horses (500 kg): 30 g per day
Foals, young horses and ponies: 15 g
given with the feed.
Due to the increased content of vitamin D3 and trace elements daily ration should not be more than doubled.
Feeding period
For maximum effectiveness, the product should be applied over an extended period. Feeding the whole year round does not pose any problems and will be beneficial.
General findings of nutritional science
Vitamin A plays a key role in the visual process, in reproductive function, in protecting the skin and mucous membranes and in strengthening the immune system.
Vitamin C and E protect the cell membranes from damaging oxygen compounds (free radicals) and are essential for the functionality and structure of the heart and skeletal muscles.
Calcium, phosphorus and vitamin D3 are essential for the resilience and strength of bones and joints.
Magnesium and calcium form the basis of effective muscle work and are primarily required for energy metabolism and the transmission of stimuli in the nerve and muscle cells.
Iron and copper are needed to form the oxygen transporters haemoglobin (blood) and myoglobin (muscles). Only a sufficient capacity of haemoglobin and myoglobin guarantees the oxygen transport required for performance peaks.
Manganese is essential for healthy growth, for the development of skeletal muscles and for stable bones.
Selenium protects the cell membrane from damaging oxygen compounds (free radicals) and is essential for the functioning of the heart and skeletal muscles.
Zinc is just as important for skin regeneration and wound healing as it is for detoxification in the liver.
INFOBOX
Mineral feed for horses – grain-free & highly concentrated
In addition to hay, straw and grazing, many horses also receive a pre-mineralized compound feed. A large proportion of the minerals and trace elements are therefore already ensured via the basic supply. Nevertheless, deficiencies occur, especially if only some of the quantities of "cereals" or compound feed recommended by the manufacturers are fed. This is because only a fraction of the vital nutrients are provided. Ideally, the supply gap should therefore be closed with a mineral feed.
The right calcium: phosphorus ratio in horses
EQUIPUR-mineral ensures a solid basic supply for horses - even without additional compound feed. The highly concentrated mineral feed is ideal for mixing into daily concentrate or compound feed. It is grain-free and can therefore also be fed to horses with intolerances. The high calcium content (Ca:Ph ratio = 3:1) ideally balances the horse's increased need for calcium due to grain feeding (high phosphorus content).
