Application
EQUIPUR - renal effectively compensates for feed-related deficiencies in the vital substances required for optimum kidney and bladder function. Restricted kidney activity not only leads to disturbances in the electrolyte or acid-base balance, but also to reduced detoxification. This can be seen in reduced lymphatic drainage (tarnish on the legs). Promoting renal excretion can significantly improve the horse's well-being and performance.

General findings of nutritional science
The horse‘s kidneys are under particular strain due to excess protein in the feed and the intake of environmental toxins and medication. Supporting the kidneys in the excretion of metabolic breakdown products and drug residues can significantly improve the horse's well-being and performance.
Herbs stimulate urine production with their medicinal active ingredients and lead to a detoxification of the organism through the increased elimination of metabolic waste products and foreign substances from the blood. At the same time, inflammation of the kidneys and bladder is effectively combated and the formation of urinary stones is prevented. By supporting cardiac activity and the circulation, lymphatic drainage is improved, thus preventing leg swelling, oedema and the formation of bile. The anti-inflammatory and connective tissue-strengthening active ingredients potentiate this effect.
Electrolytes are lost during kidney disorders or during the increased production of urine, and therefore need to be replaced.
Vitamins A, C, and E as well as selenium and zinc support each other in protecting the kidneys during the excretion of aggressive harmful substances, in combating urinary tract infections and in the regeneration of the mucous membrane of the urinary organs.
B-vitamins and folic acid help with the rapid elimination of metabolic waste products from the blood.
Methionine acidifies the urine and thus prevents the formation of urinary gravel or bladder stones.
