Application
EQUIPUR - fohlen optimally supports the healthy development of foals and young horses and balances a feeding deficiency which could lead to disturbances in skeletal development and to problems in growth (arthropathies with development of OCD, damage to sinews, or muscle problems), as well as performance weakness and increased proneness to infection.

General findings of nutritional science
Often failures in feeding cause weakness much later during performance. This is in the form of increased proneness to infections, muscle problems, damage to sinews, and athropathy. To prevent this risk, a constant supply of high quality nutrients and active substances is necessary.
Whey powder contains high quality minerals, vitamins and proteins in a natural compound. It is therefore an ideal balance for a mare‘s milk deficiency and should be provided after weaning.
Lysine and methionine are indispensable for the development and formation of bones, musculature and organs.
Calcium and vitamin D3 are essential for the development and strength of the bones and are responsible for the smooth functioning of the heart and skeleton musculature.
Iron, zinc, manganese and copper are irreplaceably required for forming blood, as well as for bone and joint development.
Vitamin A, E, beta-carotene and selenium protect frequently separating cells of a young animal from injurious oxygen compound, as well as from infectious diseases.
Tryptophan, probiotics and kieselgur have a calming and stabilising effect on the digestive system in time of stress or during change of feed.
