Application

EQUIPUR - corfit harmoniously balances the feeding deficiency in vitamin E, selenium, carnitine, omega-3 fatty acids, and procyanidins, which are needed for an optimal heart function and an intact circulation. In connection with the herbs for the heart, these vigorously improve physical capacity, willingness to perform and the well-being of the horse. This is especially applicable during hot summer months for horses with a heart deficiency or for old horses with tired hearts.

Herbal mixture 40.0 % (hawthorn leaves and flowers, hawthorn fruits, ginkgo leaves, garlic), wheat flakes, linseed meal, calcium carbonate, grape seed flour, magnesium oxide, dicalcium phosphate.

Instructions for proper use

Horses (500 kg): 50 g per day
Young horses and ponies: 25 g per day
given with the feed.
During increased requirements daily ration can be doubled awhile. Due to the increased content of trace elements daily ration should not be more than doubled.

For maximum effectiveness, this product should be applied over an extended period, at least for 6 to 8 weeks.

According to the anti-doping and medication control rules of the “Deutsche Reiterliche Vereinigung (FN)“, there is a recommended waiting period (from the last application to assignment in a competition) of 48 hours for this product due to a portion of herbs of over 3%.

General findings of nutritional science

During lessened capability of the heart, administering a combination of highly effective heart protectors can effect a distinct improvement of the pumping capacity and therefore also produce a stabilization of the circulation.

Vitamin E and the procyanidines grape seed flour, protect as ‘antioxidant’ the cell membranes from destruction by aggressively damaging substances and therefore keep the structural function and performance capacity of the heart‘s musculature at all times and particularly during time of high strain. In addition, vitamin E improves oxygen supply and utilization in the musculature and thus considerably increases performance capacity.

Selenium protects, together with vitamin E, the cell membranes from harmful oxygen compounds, and is indispensable for the functioning of the heart‘s musculature.

L-carnitine serves as a carrier substance for long-chained fatty acids. By the additional supply of carnitine, the energy supply increases, and this can distinctly improve the performance of the heart‘s musculature.

Magnesium is responsible for the functional capacity of ca. 100 intra-cellular enzymes, mainly in the striated skeletal and heart musculature.

Lysine plays an important role as a buffer of lactic acid in the heart muscle.

Hawthorn and ginkgo improve the blood circulation of the heart muscle.

Garlic lowers the cholesterol percentage in the blood, keeps the blood vessels elastic, regulates the blood pressure and strengthens the power of resistance.

Linseed with its unsaturated fatty acids has a protective effect on the heart vessels.
