Application
EQUIPUR - chevaloxin is effective for problems in the hoof area with its drying and protecting qualities. The effect unfolds especially in the frog, in the grooves as well as in the white line. Penetration enhancers look after deep and strong intrusion of the active agents; these special care additives keep the horn elastic and support the new formation of the horn.
After thoroughly cleaning the grooves, inject the gel deeply with the spray nozzle into the central groove and both collateral grooves until the liquid runs out. After treatment, the hoof should be picked up for a short while to allow the active agents to penetrate. This treatment is also applicable to moist hooves.
For healthy hooves, it is recommended to apply EQUIPUR-chevaloxin once or twice per week. Treatment is particularly effective after trimming the hooves or when the horse is forced to stand on wet ground.
For hoof problems, treat the hooves with EQUIPUR-chevaloxin every day until the foul-smelling and moist horny parts are completely dry.
The preparation does not prevent a hoof‘s breathing; it is non-caustic and non-toxic. For external use only!
According to the anti-doping and medication control rules of the “Deutsche Reiterliche Vereinigung (FN)“, external application of this product during competition is allowed (ADMR conform).
General findings of nutritional science
Sorbine - inhibits bacterial growth and prevents bacterial degradation of hoof horn (such as thrush, loose hoof wall or white line disease).
Copper sulphate - supports sorbine effects with its fungicidal and bactericidal action.
Plantal agents - of camomile and aloe have a regenerating and elastificating effect on the horn layer.
Dexpanthenol - supports the healing process and has an anti-inflammatory effect.
Propylene glycol - improves penetration and ensures that active agents will seep deeply into the horn wall. It is also a mild disinfectant.
Gelatinization agents - are swelling agents of plant origin. Their task is to ensure that the active substances will stick to the hoof horn.
