Application
CANIPUR - arthrofit contains a special combination of nutrients and active ingredients (green-lipped New Zealand mussel (200,000 mg/kg), chondroitin sulphate (100,000 mg/kg), glucosamine, hyaluronic acid, MSM and devil's claw). In addition to improving general mobility and performance, these also increase the elasticity and stability of the spine and increase the load-bearing capacity of the joints.

Composition
Mussel concentrate 20.0 %, devil’s claw 15.0 %, herbal mixture (willow bark, birch, arnica, stinging nettle, chamomile), chondroitin sulphate 10.0 %, methyl sulphonyl methane (MSM) 6.0 %, glucosamine 5.0 %, linseed, ginger, linseed oil, hyaluronic acid 0.4 %.
Note: Contains mussel concentrate - must not be fed to ruminants
Instructions for proper use
Small dogs ( 4-15 kg): 1-4 g per day
Medium dogs (16-39 kg): 4-8 g per day
Large dogs (40-80 kg): 8-16 g per day
given with the feed.
Due to the higher content of trace elements, the daily ration should not be more than doubled.
Feeding period
For maximum effectiveness, the product should be applied at least three weeks. Feeding for a longer period does not pose any problems and will be beneficial.

General findings of nutritional science
Almost one in five dogs now suffers from painful joint wear and tear - known as osteoarthritis. The causes of this pathological or injury- or stress-related degeneration of the complex joint apparatus vary from dog to dog. Sometimes there is an inherited predisposition, other dogs have been put under strain too early or incorrectly and still other dogs have put incorrect strain on their musculoskeletal system due to injury. Severe pain significantly impairs the mobility of these four-legged friends. Without appropriate treatment, the quality of life of osteoarthritis patients remains limited.
In a dog's musculoskeletal system, the joints with their cartilage and surrounding connective tissue as well as the spine are exposed to particularly high stresses. In order to meet these requirements and prevent disorders caused by malnutrition, overloading, illness (e.g. arthrosis, hip joint dysplasia, dachshund paralysis) or the natural ageing process, the organism should be supplied with a special combination of nutrients and active ingredients that have a protective and regenerative function on the tissues of the musculoskeletal system.
Glycosaminoglycans such as chondroitin sulphate, glucosamine and hyaluronic acid are a main component of connective tissue. These include the tendons and tendon sheaths, the ligamentous apparatus, the joint capsules and cartilage as well as the synovial fluid (synovia). The basic substance of the connective tissue with its glycosaminoglycans is responsible for its mechanical resilience on the one hand, and on the other hand it serves as a "transporter" of nutrients and waste products between the connective tissue cells and the bloodstream. If the glycosaminoglycan concentration is reduced due to injuries, chronic changes (e.g. arthrosis, old tendon damage), heavy strain or the natural ageing process, these tasks can no longer be fulfilled.
Essential fatty acids such as omega-3 fatty acids reduce susceptibility to inflammation and allergic reactions, increase the suppleness and resistance of joints, ligaments, tendons and muscles and speed up the healing of pathological changes. Unsaturated, essential fatty acids cannot be built up by the body itself, so they must be supplied with the feed.
Kieselguhr strengthens the connective tissue and increases the elasticity of tendons, ligaments, tendon sheaths and joint capsules.
Vitamin C and Iron support collagen formation.
Vitamin E and selenium maintain the stability and tensile strength of collagen fibres and optimize muscle metabolism.
Methionine and MSM are biologically active sulphur compounds. They have a significant influence on the resilience of tendon and joint structures.
Herbs such as devil's claw, ginger, willow bark, birch, arnica, nettle or camomile regulate the connective tissue metabolism and interrupt the inflammation chain thanks to the active ingredients contained in the plants.
