Application
Psyllium husks have a high content of valuable dietary fiber, which swell strongly in water and form a gel-like substance. In this way, they naturally support the intestine's self-cleansing powers in the elimination of sand and soil as well as toxins.

Composition
Psyllium seed husks.
Instructions for proper use
Horses (500 kg): 50 g per day
Young horses, Ponies: 25 g per day
soak in ½ to 1 liter of water for approx. 30 minutes and administer with food.
During an increased need, the dosage can also be doubled in the short term.
Feeding period
For maximum effectiveness, this product should be applied for a period of at least 4-6 weeks.

The mucilage and high water-binding capacity of the psyllium husk have been valued by humans since ancient times. They are now also used successfully for horses with digestive problems. Just a few grams of the plant (psyllium), which is mainly native to India, are enough to absorb up to 40 times its own amount of liquid and swell up considerably. During intestinal transit, this food pulp stimulates digestion, the mucilage nourishes the stomach and intestinal wall and absorbs solid sediments such as sand and soil. Psyllium husks should be fed to horses as a cure at regular intervals. As the husks swell up considerably, they should always be given in conjunction with plenty of water or, ideally, soaked beforehand.
