Instructions for proper use
horses (500 kg): 25 g per day
Young horses and ponies: 15 g per day
given with the feed.
Due to the increased content of selenium daily ration should not be more than doubled.
Feeding period
For maximum effectiveness, the product should be applied over at least 4 weeks. Feeding the whole year round does not pose any problems and will be beneficial.
General findings of nutritional science
Effective protection of the muscles and joints and strengthening of the immune system is particularly important during the competition season in order to maintain the horse's health and performance even under high stress or during short recovery periods. While active cell protection in healthy horses leads to greater willingness to perform, improved rideability and conditional improvements, it also promotes the recovery process after illness and improves the chances of recovery.
Antioxidants, which include vitamins C and E, the provitamin beta-carotene and selenium, protect muscle and connective tissue cells from damage under heavy strain. They support the oxygen supply to the cells, ensure energy production and thus ensure a powerful musculoskeletal system. They also sustainably strengthen the immune system and are therefore extremely important and effective protective substances for the body against pathogens such as viruses or bacteria.
Zinc has a decisive influence on the speed at which cells can regenerate after stress.
Essential amino acids such as lysine and methionine promote the development and maintenance of muscles and strengthen the connective tissue fibers of the tendons and ligaments.

A multitude of different influences (environment, toxins, stress, bacteria, viruses and fungi) challenge the horse's immune functions on a daily basis. A functioning immune system protects our horses from illness. The immune system is made up of different organs, tissues, cells and molecules and a sufficient defense performance requires an undisturbed networking of these individual parameters.
