Application
EQUIPUR - Kühlgel is a refreshing and skin-friendly active gel with a special deep-acting effect. It relaxes and reactivates muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints after strain and fatigue through intensive and long-lasting cooling.
According to the anti-doping and medication control rules of the “Deutsche Reiterliche Vereinigung (FN)“, there is a recommended waiting period (from the last application to assignment in a competition) of 48 hours for this product.
Apply to the strained areas and massage in thoroughly.
Subsequent bandaging (after approx. 30-40 minutes) increases the long-term effect.
In addition from applying to the horse's legs, applying the product to the saddle and girth area after strain has a particularly enlivening and refreshing effect.
Do not apply to open wounds!

Cooling strained and run-down horse legs after hard training
Cooling down is not only good for the horse's ligaments and tendons, which are heavily strained after hard training or competition, but all other muscle areas also regenerate more quickly if they are cooled down slowly immediately after exertion. On hot days, a cool shower with a water hose is a welcome option. Unfortunately, however, the water dries off the horse far too quickly. So-called cooling gels are therefore particularly popular. This gel-like mass cools the areas smeared with it for much longer. In addition, the essential oils from eucalyptus and peppermint promote blood circulation and thus support the regenerative capacity of stressed muscles and tendons.
