Application

Composition
Herb mixture (hawthorn, birch, arnica, stinging nettle), rice flour, sodium chloride, sodium hydrogen carbonate, potassium chloride, linseed oil.
Instructions for proper use
Small dogs (4-15 kg): 1-4 g
Medium dogs (16-39 kg): 4-8 g
Large dogs (40-80 kg): 8-16 g
given with the feed.
Due to the increased content of trace elements daily ration should not be more than doubled.
Water should be available at all times.
Feeding period
For maximum effectiveness, the product should be applied at least three weeks.

Dogs' kidneys are particularly stressed by excess protein in their food and by the intake of environmental toxins and medication. Supporting the kidneys in the excretion of metabolic breakdown products and drug residues can significantly improve a dog's well-being and performance.
Herbs stimulate urine production with their medicinal active ingredients and lead to a detoxification of the organism through the increased elimination of metabolic waste products and foreign substances from the blood. At the same time, inflammation of the kidneys and bladder is effectively combated and the formation of urinary stones is prevented. By supporting cardiac activity and circulation, lymphatic drainage is improved, thus preventing oedema. The anti-inflammatory and connective tissue-strengthening active ingredients further potentiate this effect.
Methionine enables an optimal balance of sulphur-containing amino acids, which are very often lost in the urine in the case of kidney problems.
Electrolytes are lost to a large extent in kidney disease or increased urine output and must therefore be replaced.
Vitamins A, C and E as well as selenium and zinc support each other in protecting the kidneys during the excretion of aggressive harmful substances, in combating urinary tract infections and in the regeneration of the mucous membrane of the urinary organs.
B vitamins and folic acid help with the rapid elimination of metabolic waste products from the blood.

Kidney detoxification in dogs
In contrast to the liver, the kidney cells in dogs have very little regenerative potential. Kidney tissue that has already been destroyed can no longer be renewed. This is one reason why kidney failure is one of the most common causes of death in dogs. According to available statistics, the assumption that this can only affect old dogs is wrong. Already one fifth of all dogs under the age of 5 suffer from kidney problems. If the detoxification organ is restricted in its function, its tasks (including excretion of the degradation products of protein metabolism, regulation of the electrolyte and alkaline balance and blood pressure as well as the formation of red blood cells) can no longer be carried out properly. Essential functions are thus disturbed and the following symptoms occur: increased urine output, weight loss, lack of appetite, lethargy, diarrhea, anemia, etc. As these symptoms only appear very late, it is difficult to make an early diagnosis - often a large part of the dog's kidney tissue is already damaged. The vet can make an early diagnosis using regular ultrasound, blood count parameters and urine analysis. In the case of kidney problems, a consistent low-salt and low-protein diet is important. Diuretic herbs support the kidneys and secondary plant substances have an anti-inflammatory effect on the kidneys and bladder. Due to the higher urine output, electrolytes and trace elements are also frequently excreted.
