Mineral feed for dogs
CANIPUR - gravid for the supply of vital nutrients during pregnancy (5th - 9th week) and lactation.
Application
CANIPUR - gravid is used from the 5th week of pregnancy and, with its biologically high-quality nutrients and active ingredients, is specially designed to meet the increased needs of pregnant, parturient and lactating bitches. At the same time, this also ensures optimal care for the puppies during the particularly important development phases before and after birth.
INFOBOX
Feeding the pregnant bitch correctly
During the second half of a pregnancy, the bitches visibly increase their abdominal girth. The fetuses are now slowly developing into mature puppies. Not only does the energy requirement of the pregnant bitch almost double over time, but the nutrient requirement also increases and changes significantly compared to a normal dog. If the dog's needs are not covered by her daily food, her body draws on its existing reserves. This is because it prioritizes the ideal care of babies growing up in the womb. The result can be a bitch that is deficient in nutrients, which then deteriorates physically during and after lactation and no longer has any resistance worth mentioning. The responsible breeder or dog owner therefore pays attention to a diet rich in vital nutrients and thus prevents later deficiency symptoms. CANIPUR - gravid reliably closes the existing supply gaps during and after pregnancy.

General findings of nutritional science
From the fifth week of pregnancy, the fetuses in the bitch's uterus increase greatly in weight and size. A diet rich in vital nutrients is therefore essential for optimal growth and healthy fetal development. During lactation, there is another significant increase in the need for energy and nutrients, as these are passed on to the puppies with the milk. In addition to emaciation of the bitch, an undersupply during this time leads to susceptibility to infection and developmental disorders in the puppies.
Proteins and essential amino acids are indispensable building blocks for fetal growth and milk production.
Calcium, phosphorus and magnesium are essential for the development, resilience and strength of bones, joints and teeth.
Carob flour regulates intestinal activity, which is often dampened, especially in the last phase of pregnancy..
Vitamins and trace elements play a key role in the formation of new life. As they can usually only be stored in the organism for a short time, a regular supply is essential for the optimal supply of the pregnant bitch and therefore also the fetuses and puppies (via the mother's milk).
Probiotics (intestinal flora stabilizers) support digestion, protect the intestinal flora and activate the body's natural defences.
