Instructions for proper use
Horses (500 kg): 20 - 40 ml
Foals, young horses, small horses: 10 - 20 ml
given with the feed or mix it with 1-2 liters of water.
If there is substantial loss by sweating you may give the electrolytes up to five times a day.
Feeding period
In case of heavy sweating, feeding the horse electrolytes up to five times per day does not pose a problem. Water must always be offered for free consumption. The most common reason why horses don't drink at competitions is due to increased electrolyte loss through sweat. Only when this loss is compensated for by electrolyte intake will the horses absorb enough water again!
